Secret of Grisly Manor App Reviews

This reminds me of a very stripped-down version of the G5 game apps. Its visually well done, and at times can be genuinely puzzling as to what you should be doing. Once you use a hint, it takes quite a while to be able to use another; but that forced me to just keep searching and exploring on my own in order to get further in the game. As another reviewer stated, its not "grisly" or necessarily scary in any way. Its got the setting of a somewhat creepy old house, but thats about it (not necessarily a bad thing, but the title does set up an expectation that the game doesnt live up to). Its also a very short game... Also not necessarily a bad thing, but there isnt any replayability factor, so some might feel a bit cheated. Overall a fun & intriguing game.

The game wasnt challenging at all. But it was something to keep me busy. Well for all of 15 minutes that is.

A short, but pleasant point and click puzzler. I enjoyed it, and hope to play other titles by this company. There really isnt much of a story here, just enough to string the puzzles together. It was okay with me, but just wanted to inform others, who may be looking for a spooky tale, that this is not at all scary, despite the title and illustration that you see here.

I played this first on my NOOK and loved it. It was short but fun. It reminded me of a Nintendo DS game I once played and loved.

Not too spooky, not too hard, not too long. Like the fact that the hint has to recharge for 10 mins. Great idea.

This app is hands down one of the best apps Ive seen on the AppStore! My mom and I played it together all the time. Even though Ive already played it, it is still tricky at times and requires some serious thought. Thats why its so great! You can play it then keep it for others or yourself to play later! 11/10 (thats just how awesome it is) :D totally worth buying!

I bought them all separately without any regrets for paying them more than as a bundle... the father daughter time these games gave my 8y/ and I priceless.

Compare to their other game"The Lost City", this one is about 1/10 the length. Not worth the $0.99 in my opinion.

Yeah its short, but its also cheap. And I like it way better than braindead hidden object games. I continuously scour the app store for games like this and am very glad I found this one. If you like games like this, try the Forever Lost games.

Super easy, but still cute and fun!

The game itself is pretty good. The environment feels a little more interactive than the lost city. Its very short though.

As the sequel to "The Lost City," this game had a lot to be expected of it. However, it definitely met those expectations and some may say even surpassed them. The only real problem with the game isnt even in the game itself. The name "Grisly Manor" seems slightly off putting due to the connotation the word "grisly" has. However, due to the setup of the story, this could be explained. Dont let the title fool you; this is a great puzzle game for all ages!

Love this developers games but this one was short and nothing grisly about it. Like wandering around your Grannies house.

I have solved every puzzle and am at the end. I have entered the correct combination on the safe and the safe wont open. I cant solve the final puzzle to end the game.

This is a good point and click puzzle adventure game. The puzzles are intuitive and of just the right difficulty. The hints are hints and not answers to the puzzles (unless you specifically ask for the solution). The only interaction with the environment is for items you NEED, so if you can click on it, it is important. The story line is shallow and not overly important. Its more of a find the next puzzle game. Overall, not a bad game, but not as good as The Room series.

Very laid back game. Most puzzles are intuitive but if you get stuck there are free hints.
