Secret of Grisly Manor App Reviews

Not a game that lasts long but is still very fun and impressive graphics

...but am disappointed at its abrupt and unsatisfying ending. i like the visuals, and the gameplay and am surprised there is no sequel available.

I was hoping this game was going to be as in-depth as Lost City. It started OK, but then was over almost before it could begin. Add some chapters or something.

You need hints to this game to continue or else it is terrible to play!!!!!!!!

I finished in less than 10 mins. I paid money for this? The graphics were a joke. I kept expecting more. Extremely disappointing. Who would rate this highly? Im baffled.

I wish there were more, a longer game or more versions, or more games! FMG rules :)

Very short, very simple, very boring. Dont waste your time.

Very short (i finished it in about an hour) adventure point and click game. The puzzles arent too challenging- only one really stumped me. The ending is very abrupt; for a minute I thought perhaps the game continued in a chapter 2 app- but there is no link from the game and I didnt see anything in the App Store.

Guys, if you looked up awesomeness in the dictionary, a picture of this app would be there. This game is beyond awesome! And for those of you who are complaining because it was too scary for your kid, there was absolutely NOTHING scary in this game, so stop whining. Anyways, back to gushing about Fire Maple. I love this game, and I have also played all your other adventure games, and wrote a positive app review on all of them because you are truly amazing. I just loved the happiness of the ending, where the grandfather comes back with his dog and everything. Thanks!

A classic point and click adventure that kept me engaged, I would highly recommend it!

Thank you for finally putting a map in the game, as well as hints and the journal. But the journal doesnt appear in the item bag like it does for your other games, so there is no way to look at it.

I was hoping this update would add new content but it didnt. Thats ok. But playing on my iPhone 4S, I tap about ten times then it freezes. Can only get through the front door but this happens. Cant see to get around it.

I bought all three of these puzzle games from Fire Maple - great casual gaming! Cant wait for more!

This was the first Fire Maple game I played and it has since upgraded to be even better. I purchased other games from this company because I liked this one so much. Fun without being inappropriate for children. Definitely worth the price. Thanks!

Way too short, won it really quickly. Not very challenging

I remember when I got this app one or two years ago. Its really good and I still love it.

If you havent played Fire Maples games, then I suppose this one is a place to start to understand how their games operate and whats involved. Know this, though, its not "grisly" by any stretch of the imagination. Its not scary, its not suspenseful, and its not creepy as the games name and icon suggest. Its like the other two games in this set, which is casual and pleasant gameplay. Very low key gaming. The Lost City and The Hidden World are both a huge step up from this game in puzzle complexity and visual design. Both of those are well done, where Grisly Manor is only average. The Lost City and The Hidden World are also much longer games with more involved, so check them out for sure. This game is ok, but the visuals are a strange mix of styles. You would think from the game icon that it would take place inside an old run down Victorian manor. Nope. The girls bedroom is vintage 1970s. So, the visuals are better thought out in the other two games. If I had to do it over, I wouldnt have bought this one at all. Three Stars.

The Room 1 was also .99 and seemed too be infinitely longer and more rich. But not bad all in all.
